Verses to hold onto

I will post something I've been working on in the next few days, but tonight I wanted to share some verses I'm clinging to right now.  There is joy everywhere I look, but right now there's also a lot of sadness and scary things to come.  I'm struggling to find my positivity tonight, but I believe that is ok and that all I can do is hold onto the truth of these verses and know that even in my sadness and fear, God means what he says.  My hope is that wherever you are, these words will bring you peace and comfort as well.

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3).

"The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.  And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You" (Psalm 9:9-10).

"In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul" (Psalm 138:3).

"The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones; you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail" (Isaiah 58:11).

I pray these words for myself, my family, and all of you who are feeling discouraged, weak or downtrodden: May you feel surrounded by the Lord who will NOT forsake you even in drought, in times of trouble and when you are brokenhearted.  May you believe that when you cry out, he answers you.  May you find refuge in the arms of the Lord.  May you feel strength in your bones and deep in your soul.  And even though you are wounded, may you feel bold and strong like waters that do not fail and beautiful and cared for like a watered garden.  You are NEVER alone when you put your trust in the healer of our hearts.  Bless you.  I love you.
